Applications for Helping Pastors Thrive Initiatives Available August 1

Applications for the New Pastors Cohort that will begin in October will be available through the Helping Pastors Thrive website on August 1. The program will select 6 to 8 pastors who are in their first place of service to begin a two year journey with mentors and other new pastors. The cohort program is built around two annual retreats and will be facilitated by experienced mentors. Mentors for the 2019-21 cohort will be announced in mid-July.

Applications for the Pastor-in-Residence program will also be available on August 1 for residencies that will take place in February/March of 2020. Four pastors will be selected to inaugurate the program, one for each of the four locations: Wake Forest School of Divinity, Duke Divinity School, Gardner-Webb School of Theology, and Campbell University Divinity School.
